By downloading, installing, or using Kitsune ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. Preview Software

Kitsune is currently provided as a free preview. This means:

• Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice
• The Software may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete functionality
• Certain features that are currently free may become paid in future versions
• There is no guarantee of service availability, uptime, or continued development

3. "As Is" Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Software is with you.

4. Your Content

Stories, characters, images, and other content you create with Kitsune belong to you. Kitsune does not claim ownership of your creations. Your content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party AI providers you configure within the application.

5. Third-Party Services

Kitsune may connect to third-party AI services based on your configuration. These services have their own terms and pricing. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or cost of third-party services, nor for any content generated by them.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pablo Marugan or any contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Permitted Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Redistribute or sublicense the Software without permission
• Use the Software to produce content that is illegal or violates the rights of others

8. Updates & Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also release updates to the Software that modify its functionality — your continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to Kitsune at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your locally stored content remains yours.
